Carbon Steel Seamless Boiler Tube
Carbon Steel Seamless Boiler Tube is a pressure-rated piping part. Hot-rolling or cold-drawing makes it. The result is one continuous metallurgical structure, with no weld seam running lengthwise. Tianjin Youcheng Technology Co., Ltd. has 12 years of experience in steel distribution and export. Boiler tubes from our company go out to projects in Kuwait, Russia, Brazil, Greece, and other markets. Our warehouse holds about 20000 tons. Standard production lead time runs 7–10 days. Thermal power plants and petrochemical facilities order from us. Boiler engineering contractors do too. Every batch ships with full Mill Test Certificate (MTC) documentation.

What Is This Product?
Welded pipe works differently. A seamless tube has no weld seam running lengthwise, so it also has no Heat Affected Zone (HAZ). Inside pressure piping, the HAZ can bring small changes to the metal structure. Cracking risk goes up when the pipe faces repeated thermal cycling and high-pressure steam.
The seamless process, hot-rolling or cold-drawing, leaves a uniform grain structure through the pipe wall. That supports steady mechanical performance across long operating cycles. It holds in subcritical and supercritical boiler environments too.
Bigger outer diameters go through hot-rolling. That is the standard route. Small, thin-wall sizes get cold-drawn instead, because those need tighter dimensional tolerances.

Applicable Standards & Material Grades
These tubes are produced under four recognized standards to meet both domestic and international project requirements:
| Standard | Scope |
|---|---|
| GB/T 3087 | Low and medium pressure boiler tubes |
| GB/T 5310 | High pressure boiler tubes |
| ASME SA-192 | High-pressure service, low-carbon grade |
| ASME SA-210 (A1/C) | Medium-carbon, higher tensile demand |
Grades of material on offer: 20#, 20G, SA-192, SA-210A, SA-210C
Carbon content is held between 0.06% and 0.27%. Manganese is balanced to keep the steel ductile and easy to weld. Tensile strength starts at ≥415 MPa, and that figure varies by grade.

Performance Characteristics
Temperature and pressure range. Take 20G and SA-210C. These grades handle service up to about 450°C. Past that point, creep deformation starts to matter for the material. Go above 500°C and alloy steel grades are the right call.
Grain structure consistency. Hot rolling and cold drawing leave a uniform grain across the pipe wall. That keeps mechanical behavior steady when the pipe goes through thermal cycling over long service runs.
Dimensional control. The bore inside Carbon Steel Seamless Boiler Tube stays smooth. Fluid meets less drag that way. Heat passes through more easily too. That counts for superheater tubes and water wall panels.
Material documentation. Every batch leaves with an official MTC report. That report gives the chemical makeup. Mechanical test results show up there as well. So do the NDT findings.
Processing options. Cut-to-length, pipe end deburring, and bevel cutting are available to reduce on-site workload during boiler installation.

Inspection & Testing
Before shipping, every batch goes through a set inspection routine:
Every inspection follows the Chinese GB standards. Where ASME codes apply, those rules are met too.

Three main industrial areas put this product to work.
Thermal power stations. Here the tubes work as superheater tubes, reheater elements, and water wall panels. Coal-fired plants use them. So do biomass plants. Thermal cycling never lets up at these sites, so the product has to be seamless. That keeps the structure consistent.
Petrochemical refining. Plants in this sector fit the tubes into heat exchangers. They also go into waste heat boilers. High-pressure steam travels through them during distillation and during cracking. Pressure integrity is a primary design requirement for that kind of work.
Marine boiler systems. Used in propulsion and heating systems of large vessels, these tubes handle combined internal pressure and external vibration in marine service conditions.
Grades like 20G and SA-210 bend easily too. That is why they work well for U-bending into serpentine coils and U-bundles. After bending, a heat treatment is advised. It helps take out leftover stress.

We pack the tubes in hexagonal bundles. Steel strip banding holds each bundle tight. This stops them from shifting and keeps the surfaces free of damage on sea or road freight.
Want extra protection for bare surfaces in transit? We can add anti-rust oil or black varnish if you ask. Stock sits at around 200 tons, and production of Carbon Steel Seamless Boiler Tube takes 7–10 days. Give us your order size and delivery location, and we can talk through the timeline.

Q: ASME SA-192 and SA-210 this product, what sets them apart?
A: SA-192 is a low-carbon grade. It serves high-pressure work and has set hardness limits. SA-210 is a medium-carbon grade. Its tensile strength is higher, so it fits harder pressure demands in power boiler applications.
Q: Can these tubes handle temperatures over 500°C?
A: Most standard carbon steel grades hold up to roughly 450–480°C. Go past that point, and creep deformation turns into a real material risk. Alloy steel grades are the ones to use instead.
Q: Which documents come along with each shipment?
A: Every batch ships with a Mill Test Certificate (MTC). Chemical composition, mechanical test results, hydrostatic test records, and NDT findings are all listed on it.
Q: Do you handle custom cutting and surface treatment?
A: Yes. Cut-to-length processing, pipe end deburring, and bevel cutting are available. Anti-rust oil or varnish coating can also be arranged based on your project requirements.
