Bracket Grade Angle Bar
Bracket Grade Angle Bar is hot‑rolled carbon steel L‑section for structural connection, frame fabrication and load‑bearing support. We supply equal and unequal angle bars from 20×20 mm to 200×200 mm, available in Q235B, Q355B, S235JR, S355JR and A36. With 12 years of steel export experience, Youcheng keeps around 20000 tonnes ready stock. Standard lead time is 7–10 days, ideal for construction, industrial and infrastructure projects worldwide.

A product is a structural steel profile with an L-shaped cross-section that is 90 degrees off from straight. It is made to stricter metallurgical standards and smaller tolerances for size than regular commercial angle iron.
Unlike regular angle iron, this one is made to be stable under uneven loads, settings with a lot of vibration, and tough installation conditions. It gives structural parts a reliable place to connect to each other, so reinforcements don't have to be made to order on-site.
As long as the perpendicularity range is kept at 90° ± 0.5°, the fit-up will be more accurate, and you will not have to do as much work during installation.

These angle bars are made from carbon steel. ASTM A36, Q235B, and Q355B are the grades used. Yield strength changes with the grade. The range runs from 235 to 355 MPa.
Hot-rolled bars cool down slowly, so the grain structure comes out more even. They also carry no internal residual stress. Cold-forming leaves that stress behind. That is why hot-rolled bars hold up better under heavy structural loads. Every grade welds easily. In most normal cases, brackets and frames can be built straight from them, with no extra treatment.
Projects that will sit in corrosive settings can use hot-dip galvanising to ISO 1461. Two things should guide your choice of surface treatment: the exposure where you are, and what the project needs.

A lot of business-to-business sectors use the Bracket Grade Angle Bar. What they need is a steady size and a part that can carry a load.
Renewable Energy Infrastructure: The angle bar counts as a main structural piece in utility-scale solar PV racking systems. Wind uplift and snow loads must be handled for the entire life of the system. Two things decide long-term success: how exact the measurements are, and how long the coating lasts.
Industrial HVAC and Piping: It carries heavy-duty ductwork and high-pressure pipes inside petrochemical plants. Those plants face constant shifts in temperature and vibration.
Telecommunications and Tower Construction: It is used to place antennas on cell towers because it has a good strength-to-weight ratio and can support equipment installation at heights in all kinds of weather.
The product is also commonly used to make steel structures for factory buildings, warehouse frames, and other support frames.
Our steel products, including steel pipes, structural sections, steel plates and coated steel coils, are widely used in steel structure construction, oil & gas pipeline transmission, petrochemical facilities, power projects, heavy machinery manufacturing and municipal infrastructure. All our industrial steel complies with international standards and comes with complete MTC, CE and SGS certificates to meet strict engineering requirements.

Orders can be processed based on the needs of a specific project. As normal processing services, you can get fixed-length cutting, CNC punching, drilling, and bending.
You can make your own hole patterns and slot configurations as long as the changes don't affect the bar's net section modulus. We can set up anti-corrosion treatments like hot-dip galvanising and primer painting based on your surroundings and the needs of your project.
OEM and ODM services are available to meet the needs of different national markets or specific drawing needs from clients.

Before shipping, the following areas are inspected, and performance statistics for the materials is included in the paperwork.
Every shipment gets a Mill Test Certificate (MTC). That certificate links back to the original steel heat number. It helps with project documents. The paperwork can show where the material came from.

Products are packed in export-worthy packing that is steel-strapped and seaworthy. This keeps the bars safe during ocean freight and long-distance transport.
Standard orders are filled within 7–10 days because we keep about 200 tonnes of Bracket Grade Angle Bar stock on hand and have established transportation and freight forwarding partnerships. We answer all enquiries within 24 hours.

Q: How is a product different from a regular angle iron?
A: The Bracket Grade sets stricter physical dimensions and material requirements. Structural connections need these. General-purpose or light-duty uses do not.
Q: Can the length and pattern of the holes in these bars be changed?
A: The answer is yes. Laser-cut slots or holes are often pre-installed in bars to make them easier to put together, as long as the changes don't affect the net section modulus.
Q: How should I finish something that will be exposed to corrosive substances?
A: Hot-dip galvanising to ISO 1461 is the standard pick. Which surface treatment you use for a given contact should come down to what the project needs.
Q: How do you guarantee the origin of a material?
A: Each shipment comes with a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) that allows full material tracking by linking the heat number to the original steel melt.
Q: What's the difference between cold-formed and hot-rolled angle bars regarding their structure?
A: In contrast to cold-formed bars, hot-rolled bars don't have any interior residual stress. This makes them better for supporting heavy loads in structures. For mounting precise equipment, cold-formed bars usually have tighter tolerances and a smoother surface finish.
Q: For example, can cutting and anti-rust painting be done at the same time?
A: The answer is yes. Combining fixed-length cutting and anti-rust primer painting is possible, depending on your drawing and surface treatment needs.
