Bracket Grade Flat Bar
Bracket Grade Flat Bar is a hot-rolled structural steel profile used in support systems that hold weight. It comes in grades A36, Q235B, Q355B, S235JR, and S355JR. The Tianjin Youcheng Technology Co., Ltd. has been stocking, distributing, and exporting steel for more than 12 years. From 3 mm to 60 mm thick and 12 mm to 200 mm wide, you can choose. These bars meet the standards set by GB/T 704, ASTM A36, and EN 10025. We keep about 20000 tonnes in stock, and the normal production wait time is 7–10 days.

This product is made for building structures that need to have the same mechanical qualities and ability to be welded under both static and dynamic loads.
Grade-to-grade, the yield strength is between 235 MPa and 355 MPa. In normal situations, elongation is more than 20%, which allows cold bending without breaking.
To keep the weldability, the carbon content is kept below 0.25%. The amounts of silicon and manganese are just right to make the material tough for use in structures.

Q235B is suited to general structural fabrication. Q355B provides higher yield strength for heavy load-bearing components. S355JR and A36 align with European and American project specifications respectively.
The straight edge profile made by hot-rolling cuts down on the time needed for machining during fabrication.
With a thickness range of 3 mm to 60 mm and a width range of 12 mm to 200 mm, this product line has everything from light brackets to heavy structural supports.
Standard cutting, bending, and welding tools can be used with the grades that are available. For thicknesses less than 20 mm, it's usually not necessary to heat the metal first before welding, unless the temperature outside drops below 0°C.
For use in coastal, marine, or outdoor settings where corrosion is a concern, the hot-dip galvanised surface option is offered.

Before shipping, a number of value-added preparation services can be used:
Anti-rust primer painting—an optional finish coat that can be put on before shipping. OEM and ODM services are available for Bracket Grade Flat Bar to meet the needs of different national markets or specific projects.

Before a package leaves, a dimension check is done. Important steps are:
Dimensional checks: Accurate gauges are used to measure camber and out-of-square tolerances to make sure bars meet the needs of CNC drilling and automated cutting lines.
Verification of the material: spectrographic analysis shows that the chemical composition fits the heat certificate. To keep ductility, the phosphorus level is kept below 0.04%.
Mechanical testing: Charpy V-Notch impact tests can be used for applications that need to work at low temperatures. When needed, hardness testing is used to make sure that the cross-section is uniform.
Surface inspection: Any seams or chips on the bar's surface that might weaken the weld are looked for.
Each order comes with a Mill Test Certificate that meets the requirements of EN 10204 Type 3.1. This gives full traceability and proof of mechanical compliance.

For solar energy mounting systems, Bracket Grade Flat Bar is the main structural member for PV mounting frames. It needs to stay the same size even when wind blows.
Heavy-duty ducting clips can be used with these industrial HVAC supports, which are made to last in places where structural support is needed all the time.
Marine and coastal construction: In places where salt air is common, hot-dip galvanised flat bar is used for mounting plates and support studs.
In general fabrication, parts like fence frames, brackets, base plates, flange blanks, grounding strips, and machinery are often made that need to be consistently accurate in size and able to be welded.

Products are packed in steel-strapped bundles with export seaworthy packaging suitable for sea freight.
Tianjin Youcheng works with established logistics and freight forwarding partners to arrange export shipments. Destinations served include Kuwait, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Kenya, and others.
With approximately 200 tons in stock, standard orders typically ship within 7–10 days of production confirmation.

Q: What are some common ways to use the item?
A: It comes in different grades and sizes and is used to make posts, fence frames, base plates and as welding material when building steel structures.
Q: What types of material are there?
A: Grades that are available include Q235B for general structural work and Q355B for applications that need a higher level of strength. We also keep S235JR, S355JR, and A36 on hand for jobs in the US and Europe.
Q: Is it possible to cut flat bar to the length you need and coat the outside?
A: Yes. Flat bar can be cut to the length you need. Anti-rust primer painting can be done before shipment if you want it to be.
Q: Can the item be bent 90 degrees in the cold?
A: Yes. So that stress cracks don't form during the bend, the internal bending radius should be at least 1.5 to 2 times the thickness of the bar.
Q: Do you need to pre-heat before welding?
A: Pre-heating is usually not needed for layers less than 20 mm unless the temperature outside is below 0°C.
Q: What kind of award should I ask for when I place my order?
A: Ask for a Mill Test Certificate that meets the requirements of EN 10204 Type 3.1. This gives you full tracking and proof that the mechanical requirements of your order were met.
