Carbon Steel H Beam
Hot-rolled wide-flange Carbon Steel H Beams, having parallel inner flange surfaces, distribute stress more efficiently than I-beams. Tianjin Youcheng Technology Co., Ltd. provides this product in grades Q235B, Q355B, S235JR, S355JR and A36, from 100×100mm to 900×300mm The company has 12 years of experience in steel distribution and 20000 tonnes of stock, servicing Kuwait, Russia, Brazil, Kenya and more than 10 other regions.

Because of the way it is cut, the H-beam gets its name. Two horizontal flanges are connected by a vertical web to make this profile. The flanges handle horizontal loads well, and the vertical web handles vertical loads well.
In contrast to an I-beam, the ends of an H-beam are the same thickness across the whole width. This shape has a bigger moment of inertia, which makes it possible for the beam to resist bending and twisting when it is under stress in more than one direction.
When hot rolling is done, there are no welds. This material is good for use in large structures. Hot rolling reduces internal stress and raises the uniformity of dimensions.

Five grades are available, each meeting specific international standards:
| Grade | Standard | Key Characteristic |
|---|---|---|
| Q235B | GB/T 700 | General structural use, good weldability |
| Q355B | GB/T 1591 | Higher yield strength, suited for heavy loads |
| S235JR | EN 10025 | European equivalent to Q235B |
| S355JR | EN 10025 | European equivalent to Q355B |
| A36 | ASTM A36 | Common in North and South American markets |
A Mill Test Certificate (MTC) comes with every shipment. That certificate confirms the chemical composition. Mechanical properties are covered on it as well.

Three section types handle different structural jobs. HW has the widest flange, so it fits column applications. General framing calls for HM, where flange width and web height stay balanced. A narrower profile is what HN brings to beam-only applications.

Wide flange load distribution
The broad flange design allows the stress to be distributed through the flange and web, which makes the section more efficient under combined bending and axial loads. It is for this reason why it is often picked for primary columns and main girders.
Three types of section for varying structural responsibilities
The HW, HM and HN sections provide structural designers the ability to choose the proper section for any given member, whether a column, a main beam or a subsidiary frame member.

MTC validated Carbon Steel H Beam mechanical properties
Every shipment includes a Mill Test Certificate. Yield strength values are listed on it. Tensile strength and elongation appear as well. Those results are reported under GB/T 11263, ASTM A36, or EN 10025.
Grading options to meet different load needs
Yield strength runs higher on Q355B and S355JR than on Q235B and S235JR. So they suit heavier or tougher structural jobs. In those jobs, the performance margin of the material counts.

Mill lengths come in standard sizes, and we can cut them down to your project specs. Here are the processing options we offer:
After blasting, primer is applied as an anti-rust treatment. OEM and ODM services are offered for buyers who want sections made to non-standard dimensions or to project tolerances. All processing choices are listed with the base material price.

This product can hold weight in a variety of industry and building settings, such as
Frames for tall buildings
Main girders and supports are made with wide flanges. This adds stiffness to the sides of a building. They can then take the stress that wind and the structure put on them.
Factory workshops and warehouses
Deflection control matters in the design of steel-frame factories and big buildings. That is when H-beams hold up heavy roof loads and overhead crane rails.
Building bridges and other public works
The shape of a bridge girder needs to be able to handle long span moments and changing traffic loads. The H-section is a good choice for these loads because it has a high moment of inertia.
A lot of factories and petrochemical plants
In smelting plants and factories, Carbon Steel H Beam H-beams hold up heavy equipment and tall cranes. They are built so they do not shake easily.

Keep H-beams in dry places with good air flow. Use dunnage timbers to lift parts off the ground so that dampness doesn't touch the bottom flange. Do not stack two or more levels without enough dunnage between them to keep the surface from pitting and to speed up the oxidation process on black-surface material that has not been cleaned.
Painted or blasted surfaces need cover while they are shipped and handled. That keeps them from getting scratched up before they are installed.

Q: Are H-beams and I-beams different?
A: Across its whole width, an H-beam has a thinner wall and a bigger outer edge. This shape lets it take bending and axial loads better, so heavy-duty steel structures pick it. For jobs that need to carry small to medium loads, I-beams are the usual choice.
Q: Can you paint things with a base that doesn't rust and cut them to order?
A: Sure, that works. Our product gets cut to whatever lengths you need, and the cuts stay accurate. If your project needs it, an anti-rust base can go on after shot blasting.
Q: How hard is it to weld the thing?
A: There isn't much carbon in Q235B and S235JR. Because of that, SMAW or SAW welding works well on both. For thicker pieces, or stronger grades such as Q355B and S355JR, preheating is the best route.
Q: Which surface treatments are available?
A: As a general rule, people choose the black mill surface. You can also use shot blasting to a level of 2.5, an anti-rust primer paint, or a zinc-rich coating for projects that will be in corrosive areas.
Q: With each shipment, how many kinds of paperwork get sent?
A: Every package comes with a Mill Test Certificate (MTC). It confirms the chemical make-up of the steel and the mechanical test results.
