Thin Wall Steel Pipe
Tianjin Youcheng Technology Co., Ltd. supplies Thin Wall Steel Pipe. You can get grades 201, 304, 304L, 316L, and 321. Sizes range from 6 mm to 630 mm on the outside diameter. Walls are 0.3 mm to 3.0 mm thick. The pipes follow ASTM A249, ASTM A269, GB/T 12771, and GB/T 14976. Mill Test Certificates ship with each order under EN 10204 3.1. We have 12 years in steel distribution and export. About 2000 tons sit in our stock. Production normally takes 7 to 10 days. Buyers come to us from Kuwait, Russia, Brazil, Belgium, Kenya, and more than a dozen other markets.

Here the outside diameter to wall thickness ratio is normally over 20:1. That ratio lowers the dead weight of a system. Pressure capacity does not drop. Neither does structural strength.
A thin-wall pipe costs less to ship than standard schedule piping. Putting it in place takes less work too. Heat exchange works better as well. So they suit jobs where space is tight and material price matters.

Want a special OD? A wall thickness that is not standard? Both are fine with us. Send over your drawing. Or just say what the job calls for.
Less weight, and less material cost for every meter
Less raw material goes into every linear meter when the wall is thin. So the unit price comes down. Freight weight drops as well. That counts for a lot when your order volumes are large. It counts even more over long shipping routes, since logistics is billed by the kilogram and the charges add up.
Smooth inner bore for fluid systems
A smooth inner surface keeps flow resistance down. Drinking water lines gain a lot from that. Sanitary gear gets the same benefit. So do instrumentation lines. Where things stay wet or chemicals are around, grades 304 and 316L add more corrosion resistance.
Forming and welding compatibility
This material is easy to bend. Flaring gives no trouble either. Welding works just as well. Use TIG, or go with orbital welding on pulsed current. That way the heat-affected zone stays small. Burn-through risk drops on walls as thin as 0.3 mm. Put a mandrel in and a bending radius of 2× to 3× the pipe diameter is within reach, with no collapse of the wall.
Dimensional tolerance control
Tolerance on wall thickness may go as tight as ±0.05 mm. Each specification sets the exact number. Laser micrometers then check that every production batch holds steady.
Surface finish options
2B and BA finishes suit industrial and Thin Wall Steel Pipe instrumentation use. Polished and mirror polish options are available for architectural decoration and sanitary equipment where surface appearance is a requirement.

Fluid and instrumentation systems
You will find them in hydraulic and pneumatic lines. Drinking water pipelines use them too. Precision instrumentation is another place they show up, since system performance there depends on tight dimensional accuracy and low weight.
Heat exchange and HVAC
Heat passes through a thinner wall at a faster rate. Heat exchangers gain from that. HVAC equipment does too. Even when pressure cycles keep shifting, the same thing holds.
Architectural and sanitary applications
More uses for these tubes come from mirror and polished finishes. Building decoration counts as one. Handrails count as another. They also suit sanitary fittings and food-grade processing equipment.
Mechanical and structural components
You will find it in vehicle chassis and bicycle frames. Structural frameworks use it too. All of them need torsional strength, and they have to stay light.

Every batch gets a check before it ships out:
Every order ships with a Mill Test Certificate (MTC). Chemical composition and mechanical properties both appear on it, and the standard behind it is EN 10204 3.1.

The pipes travel in woven bags or carton boxes. Some rest on wooden pallets instead. While they are on the move, dents and surface scratches are kept away. On hand we hold about 200 tons of stock. Freight forwarding partners are already in place, so standard orders go out in 7–10 days.
Send your Thin Wall Steel Pipe drawings or specs our way. We can get the job set up once they land. Custom cutting is part of it. So are beveled ends, and special surface treatment comes with the package.

Q: How do you stop burn-through when welding thin-wall stainless steel pipe?
A: Go with TIG or orbital welding. Run the current in pulse mode. Less heat going in means the pipe warps less. It also cuts the chance of burning a hole through walls under 1.0 mm.
Q: Can this product handle high pressure?
A: You work out the wall thickness with Barlow's Formula. Match the safety factor to the job. Picking the grade and the wall thickness comes down to your pressure and temperature.
Q: What surface finishes are available?
A: You can get 2B, BA, polished, or mirror polish. The end use decides which one you take. Industrial work calls for one finish. For decorative work, a different finish fits better. Sanitary jobs need another type again.
Q: What is the minimum bending radius?
A: Going down to 2× to 3× the outer diameter is normally fine. For that, you need a mandrel. This way the wall stays smooth, so cold bending will not wrinkle it or make it cave in.
Q: What documents come with each order?
A: Every shipment leaves with a Mill Test Certificate (MTC). The certificate is issued under EN 10204 3.1. On it you will find the chemical composition and the mechanical test results.
Q: Can the pipes be cut to the lengths I want, and can the ends be beveled?
A: Yes. Custom cutting, deburred straight ends, and beveled ends are available based on your project drawings or specifications.
